WHY AM I SO PASSIONATE ABOUT GRAPHIC DESIGN?
After giving up on the film industry grind and a promising career in visual effects, I set out to pursue my true passion, graphic design. In 2016 I did just that and focussed all my time on being an independent graphic designer and finishing BCIT’s graphic design program. By 2018 I had explored many of the areas graphic design has to offer, with experience ranging from working with clothing design companies to cutting edge app developers. With that in mind, I’ll never truly work a day in my life because I love what I do for a living and it shows.

WORKING WITH START UPS
What I enjoyed most in my time working with start ups is the ambition. The entire start up faculty works as a professional sports team. Everyone doing what they do best to reach one common goal. Although I’ve spent time as an independent freelance designer, I love working in a team-orientated environment. I thrive working on a high performing team with strong communication skills, where everyone is committed to reaching the same goal.

One quality that is unrivalled in small business is the passion for the product or service that they provide - passion is infectious. Their passion becomes my passion and I work towards not only ensuring my colleagues/clients happy with the service I provide, but also making their customers happy. Customers are instantly aware of the passion the product or service holds and I take it upon myself to reinforce this quality.
